Jason holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University. He is currently a Pre-Candidate Member of the Ontario Professional Planning Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners, and is working towards full membership.
During his studies, Jason completed client-based studio projects for both public and private sector organizations, and gained competencies in land use policy and feasibility analysis of development.
Prior to joining Weston, Jason worked in development planning and in planning law, providing critical planning analysis of provincial and municipal land use policy and issues impacting property development, as well as facilitating development approval processes.
Since joining the firm in January 2016, Jason has been responsible for a wide range of land use planning assignments around the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. His responsibilities include due diligence investigations, research and analysis, preparation of various land use planning reports, as well as the coordination, preparation and monitoring of development applications.
