Ms. Graham joined Weston Consulting in 2016, where she has had the opportunity to work on development projects throughout the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Kelly’s work at Weston includes due diligence investigations, research and analysis of land use options, preparation of planning justification reports, as well as the coordination, preparation and monitoring of development applications. Kelly brings past professional experience as a policy analyst for the Ryerson City Building Institute and the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation.
Kelly holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Geography from McGill University and a Masters in Urban Planning and Development from Ryerson University. Kelly’s Masters research focused on the implementation of the Development Permit System as a tool to achieve intensification objectives while streamlining the approvals process and concentrating community engagement early in the planning process. Kelly was awarded the OPPI Gerald A. Carrothers Graduate Scholarship in 2016 and her work has been featured in the Ontario Planning Journal.
Kelly is currently a Pre-Candidate Member of the Ontario Professional Planning Institute (OPPI) and the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP), and will be working towards full membership. Kelly is an active member of the OPPI Toronto District Committee after having served as Student Delegate to OPPI in 2015-2016.
